March 2025 Policy Update

The ACNS Advocacy Committee has published the March 2025 Policy Update. Covered in this month's update:

Congress Passes Legislation to Fund the Government for Fiscal Year 2025Congress passed a continuing resolution to fund the government through September 30 for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2025. The funding bill includes an extension of telehealth flexibilities through the end of the fiscal year, so Medicare will continue to cover telehealth services, including audio-only services, through the end of September.

Update on Health Leaders in the AdministrationPresident Trump’s health leaders continue to go through the confirmation process on Capitol Hill. The Senate confirmed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK) as the Secretary of Health and Human Services last month.
