2025 Ernst Rodin Fellowship Applications Now Accepted

ACNS and ACMEGS are now accepting applications for the 2025 Ernst Rodin Distinguished Fellowship.

The fellowship is awarded annually, pending receipt of qualified applications, and will be structured as a scientific observership (to be completed in 2025), followed by a travel grant to attend the 2026 ACNS/ACMEGS Annual Meetings:

  • Funding in the amount of $2,500 will be available to support the recipient’s travel to a research center (2-4 weeks duration), where the recipient intends to learn a new skill or complete a project directly related to the recipient's long-term career goals;
  • An additional $1,000 in travel funds will be available following that observership for the recipient to attend the ACNS and ACMEGS Annual Meetings, contingent on the recipient having submitted an abstract to the ACNS Annual Meeting that is accepted for a poster presentation.

Ernst Rodin, MD, President of ACNS in 1975 and 2014 recipient of the Society’s Jasper Lifetime Achievement Award, passed away in 2017 at age 91 after a long and illustrious career in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy. To further his mission and to ensure that his remarkable contributions will not be forgotten, ACMEGS and ACNS have jointly established the Ernst A. Rodin Distinguished Fellowship.
